This Clarification Text has been prepared by Aksa Jeneratör Sanayi A.Ş. in its capacity as data controller, to inform you regarding the processing of your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and related legal regulations.

1. Your Processed Personal Data and Scope of Processing

Personal data is any data that identifies or makes you identifiable. For example, your name, surname, eye color, phone number, or bank account information are considered personal data. The processing of personal data includes any action performed on your data such as collection, modification, recording, storage, deletion, disclosure, or transfer.

2. Your Processed Special Categories of Personal Data and Scope of Processing

Special categories of personal data include your race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance and dress, membership in associations, foundations or trade unions, health data, sexual life, criminal convictions and security measures, and biometric and genetic data.

If learned by third parties, such data could lead to discrimination or victimization. Therefore, we understand the need for stricter protection and exercise high sensitivity when processing such data.

3. Recipient Groups to Whom Your Personal Data Is Transferred and Purposes of Transfer

Your personal data is not transferred to any domestic or foreign recipients.

4. Retention Period of Your Personal Data

Your personal data is retained for the duration required by relevant legislation or for as long as necessary for the purposes of processing. When the legal basis for processing ceases to exist, your data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized either ex officio or upon your request.

5. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

“Data subject” refers to natural persons whose personal data are processed. As a data subject, you have the following rights under the KVKK:

  • To learn whether your personal data has been processed,
  • If processed, to request information regarding such processing,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used in accordance with that purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom your data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
  • To request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in the KVKK,
  • To request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom your data has been transferred,
  • To object to any outcome against you resulting from automated processing of your data,
  • To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

6. How to Exercise Your Rights

You may submit your requests regarding your personal data via the Data Subject Application Form available at https://www.aksa.com.tr/tr-tr/alan using the following methods:

  • By sending a signed form with a copy of your ID to: Rüzgarlıbahçe Mah., Özalp Çk. No:10, 34805 Kavacık – Beykoz / Istanbul,
  • By signing with a secure electronic or mobile signature and emailing it to: kvkk@aksa.com.tr,
  • By visiting the above address in person with a valid ID and submitting your request directly to the Organization.

To ensure your request is processed efficiently, you must clearly state which right you wish to exercise and provide the details of your request in a clear and understandable manner.

Please note that your request must relate to your own personal data. If a request is made on behalf of another person, the requester must provide specific written authorization (such as a power of attorney). Unauthorized requests will not be considered.

7. Evaluation of Your Application

We evaluate your applications and respond as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days from the date we receive your request.
