This Clarification Text has been prepared by Aksa Jeneratör Sanayi A.Ş., in its capacity as the data controller, to inform you regarding the personal data we process in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as the “KVKK”) and related legal regulations.
1. Your Processed Personal Data and Scope of Processing
Personal data refers to any data that identifies or makes you identifiable. For example, your name and surname, eye color, phone number, or bank account information are personal data. The processing of personal data refers to any operation performed on your data such as collection, modification, recording, storage, deletion, disclosure, or transfer.

2. Special Categories of Personal Data and Scope of Processing
Special categories of personal data include information on race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance, association/foundation/union membership, health, sexual life, criminal convictions and security measures, and biometric or genetic data.
These data may lead to discrimination or victimization if disclosed to third parties. Therefore, we recognize the need for stronger protection of such data and apply the highest level of sensitivity during processing.
3. Recipients of Your Personal Data and Purpose of Transfer
Your personal data are not transferred to domestic or foreign third parties, except where required by the legal grounds listed above.
4. Retention Period for Your Personal Data
Your personal data are retained for the periods stipulated in applicable legislation or as long as required for processing purposes. When legal grounds for data processing are no longer valid, your data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized, either automatically or upon your request.
5. Your Rights Regarding Personal Data
The term “data subject” refers to the natural person whose personal data are processed. As a data subject, you have the following rights under the KVKK:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed,
- If processed, to request information about such processing,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set forth in the KVKK,
- To request notification of correction, deletion, or destruction to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
- To object to any outcome to your detriment resulting from analysis solely by automated systems,
- To request compensation for damages if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
6. How to Exercise Your Rights
You may submit your requests regarding your personal data using the Data Subject Application Form available at https://www.aksa.com.tr/tr-tr/alan through the following methods:
- By sending it with a wet signature and a copy of your ID to: Rüzgarlıbahçe Mah., Özalp Çk. No:10, 34805 Kavacık – Beykoz / Istanbul,
- By signing with a secure electronic signature or mobile signature and sending it to: kvkk@aksa.com.tr,
- By personally visiting the address above with a valid ID and submitting it to the Organization.
To ensure the process is handled efficiently, you must clearly state which right you are exercising and provide details regarding your request in a clear and understandable manner.
Please note that your request must concern your own data. If the request is made on behalf of someone else, a specifically authorized document (e.g., power of attorney) must be provided. Requests made without authorization will not be considered.
7. Evaluation of Your Application
We will evaluate your application and respond to you as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from the date your request is received.
