Since 2018, the Aviation, Space, and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) has been held annually in September, and this year it took place from September 21–26 at Atatürk Airport. TEKNOFEST 2021 was organized by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, together with 72 stakeholder institutions, including Turkey’s leading technology companies, public institutions, media organizations, and universities.

Aiming to Increase Skilled Human Resources

TEKNOFEST seeks to raise awareness of technology and science across society and to increase Türkiye’s skilled workforce in the fields of science and engineering. It also includes Türkiye's  largest award-winning technology competitions in 35 categories—from Rockets to Autonomous Systems, Artificial Intelligence to Underwater Systems—to support young people in working on the technologies of the future.
