As a result of its zero-waste initiatives at its Çerkezköy factory, Aksa Power Generation has been awarded the "Zero Waste Certificate" by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change. Adopting an environmentally conscious approach to production, Aksa Power Generation continues its efforts under the zero-waste project to minimize waste generation, separate waste at the source, and promote recycling.
The company ensures effective waste management by collecting packaging, paper, metal, plastic, glass, and hazardous wastes separately. Hazardous wastes, such as waste oils and batteries, are sent to recycling facilities without harming the environment. By reintegrating paper and plastic waste into recycling processes, Aksa Power Generation contributes to the reuse of valuable resources.
