Turkey's leading generator manufacturer, Aksa, hosted industry visitors at the Middle East Electricity 2019 Fair (MEE), one of the most important fairs in the energy sector, held from March 5-7, 2019. This was the 17th time Aksa Power Generation participated in this fair, attended by energy sector stakeholders from the Middle East region. Turkey's leading generator manufacturer, Aksa, continues to introduce its high-quality products and innovative solutions by working with various sectors in various countries. Having participated in fairs across various sectors in many countries in 2018, Aksa Power Generation's first international fair this year was Middle East Electricity 2019. Bringing together sector representatives from numerous countries and considered the most important gathering in the region in its field, Aksa Power Generation participated in the Middle East Electricity 2019 Fair with its innovative products and provided entertaining moments to its visitors using virtual reality (VR) glasses. Attendees visiting the Aksa Power Generation booth had the opportunity to virtually tour the Aksa Power Generation factory in China, the world's largest generator factory in terms of production capacity, using virtual reality goggles (VR). Aksa Power Generation CEO Alper Peker, speaking about the importance of the Dubai market at the Middle East Fair, which brings together the energy sector's most important players, said, “We have been participating in the Middle East Electricity 2019 Fair, one of the most important fairs in the Dubai energy sector, for many years. Participating in fairs held in other countries is among our priorities. I believe that such fairs held abroad contribute significantly to both the sector and our country. I see this as an opportunity not to be missed for companies aiming to do business in the electricity and energy sector in the Middle East. This year, for the first time, we offered our attendees, who visited our booth, a tour of our factory in China using virtual reality goggles. The response exceeded our expectations, which, of course, made us very happy. We will continue to surprise our visitors with next-generation technologies.” Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from March 5-7, the Middle East Electricity 2019 Fair, one of the sector's most important, is the largest global fair covering the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity, including renewable energy and the lighting industry, with over 1,600 participating companies. Throughout the fair, seminars were held to share information with attendees on the leading figures in the Middle East Electricity sector, the latest trends, and technological innovations.
