Since 2004, Aksa Power Generation has continued its operations in the African market, including Algeria, and participated in NAPEC (North Africa Petroleum Exhibition & Conference), the largest oil and gas fair and conference targeting the North African market. At the event, which brought together representatives from various sectors from 40 countries worldwide, Aksa showcased its diesel generators. Aksa participated in NAPEC 2018, which brings together operators in the oil and gas industry and all product and service providers related to the hydrocarbon sector, with its innovative products. The 8th edition of the fair, held in Algeria from March 25 to 28, attracted participants from energy, electrical and electronics, engineering, health and safety, tourism, IT and communications, and many other fields. At the fair, which offered opportunities to increase brand awareness and pioneer in new business areas, Aksa Power Generation’s diesel generator products drew great interest from visitors. Emphasizing that Africa remains a focal point for the market and that they establish strong relationships with market representatives through fairs, Aksa Power Generation CEO Alper Peker stated, “The energy sector has recently become one of the industries with growing value that require uninterrupted power. At this fair, held in the heart of oil and gas industries like Algeria, we are pleased to have the chance to meet oil and gas decision-makers, engage with potential customers, present our products to various sectors, and have dialogues with our clients. We will continue to participate in fairs held in African countries, such as Algeria, where we have long-standing connections.”
