AKSA GENERATOR PARTNERS WITH GLOBAL GIANT MITSUBISHI

Türkiye’s Leading Generator Brand, Aksa Power Generation, has established a new company with Japan’s largest engine manufacturer, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), to produce high-tech generators and innovative solutions, particularly for data centers. The newly founded Asia-Pacific–based company is expected to generate an additional business volume of USD 100 million per year.

Commenting on the partnership, Aksa Power Generation CEO Alper Peker said: “Thanks to our long-standing global investments, Aksa Power Generation has become not just a brand that follows developments in the sector, but one that shapes them. Together with our partner MHI, we will further accelerate our growth momentum in global markets. As the uninterrupted and reliable supply of energy becomes an increasingly critical need in daily life, generators are gaining greater importance, and technological developments worldwide must be closely monitored. This collaboration positions Turkey’s global generator brand, Aksa Power Generation, higher in the world generator industry, strengthening the power of Turkish engineering on the global stage. By combining Mitsubishi’s industrial expertise with Aksa Power Generation’s production experience and engineering capabilities, we aim to increase our market share in this sector.”

Alper Peker noted that the partnership process was realized after more than two years of technical, engineering, and quality discussions. He added: “Through evaluations and analyses conducted by expert Japanese officials, Aksa Power Generation successfully completed this process with its 35 years of industry experience and superior quality standards, establishing a partnership with a global giant.”

Highlighting Turkey’s rising brand image in recent years and its contribution to Aksa Power Generation’s global journey, Peker said: “The strengthening Turkish brand image has now been internationally validated through this collaboration.”

Target: Becoming One of the Top Three Manufacturers

Alper Peker emphasized that Aksa Power Generation aims to be among the world’s top three generator manufacturers by 2025 and shared insights into growth strategies: “As part of our growth strategy, we aim to enter the top three in the global market by continuing our investments in Africa, North and South America, India, and Europe. At the same time, we will monitor potential opportunities in the African and South American markets, expanding our global sales network to accelerate growth. In the long term, we also aim to increase market share in Brazil and Australia.”
