Operating under the umbrella of Kazancı Holding, AKSA BESS continues to deliver landmark projects that contribute to Türkiye’s energy transition through advanced energy storage solutions.

As part of its strategic partnership with EVE Energy, one of the world's leading manufacturers of energy storage technologies, AKSA BESS provides innovative and reliable solutions and has successfully completed the Rasa Standalone Energy Storage Facility in Şanlıurfa and the Pamuk Energy Storage Project in Gaziantep. Following the successful completion of acceptance testing and commissioning, both facilities have officially entered commercial operation.

Located in the Eyyübiye district of Şanlıurfa, the Rasa Standalone Energy Storage Facility is the first standalone energy storage facility in Türkiye. With an energy storage capacity of 61.93 MWh and an AC power rating of 50 MWe, the facility operates independently of any power generation plant and is directly connected to the electricity grid.

The Pamuk Energy Storage Facility, located in the Şehitkamil district of Gaziantep, features a battery energy storage capacity of 48.169 MWh and a power rating of 40.5 MWe. Integrated with a 58 MWp solar power plant, the facility helps ensure a more balanced, efficient, and reliable management of renewable energy generation.

With a combined battery energy storage capacity exceeding 110 MWh, these two projects support a more stable, flexible, and resilient electricity grid through system configurations specifically optimized to meet site-specific requirements.
