A first from Aksa Power Generation
As Aksa Power Generation, we have taken a significant step in sustainability by completing the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) for our products! With this achievement, we have become the first generator manufacturer in the world to issue an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), marking a milestone in the generator industry.
The EPD is an internationally recognized document based on the ISO 14025 and EN50693 standard.
It transparently reports the environmental performance of products or services from a life cycle perspective. The preparation of an EPD covers all stages from raw material procurement to the end of the product’s life and undergoes independent third-party verification. Aksa Power Generation’s EPD has been approved by The International EPD® System (IES) and licensed by EPD Türkiye.
LCA, on the other hand, is one of the key components of an EPD. It is a comprehensive assessment that analyzes the environmental impact of a product throughout its entire lifecycle.
