AKSA NATURAL GAS
AKSA started its’ activities in the zones for which it acquired the license rights under the arrangements of the Energy Market Regulatory Board (EPDK) of the Republic of Turkey from late 2003, and began distribution of natural gas before the related deadlines. The natural gas distribution licenses and responsibility zones of the Group covers the following cities under the responsibility of joint stock companies established for this purpose;
- BALIKESIR NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION CORP. (BALGAZ) in the city of Balıkesir
- BİLECİK-BOLU NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION CORP; ( BEYGAZ) in the cities of Bolu, Bilecik, Bozüyük, Söğüt, İnönü, Çukurhisar, Pazaryeri, Osmaneli, Vezirhan and Bayırköy
- DÜZCE-EREĞLİ NATURAL GAS DISTRIBUTION CORP (DERGAZ) in the cities of Düzce, Karadeniz Ereğli, Gülüş, Alaplı, Kaynaşlı, Konuralp, Gümüşova, Cumayeri and Beyköy

The company started investments in CUKUROVA region as soon as it got the licence of this region in August 2007.
Besides these zones, natural gas investments have been completed to a great extent in the zones of Sivas, Gemlik, Çatalca-Hadımköy Bandırma with which we are in technical cooperation, and have made available to consumers.
The companies within the AKSA natural gas group completed their investments swiftly during 2004 and achieved the planning, design, construction, expansion and operation of the natural gas distribution network well ahead of related deadlines and made natural gas available to our people living in the cities for which we are responsible.
Network investments are continuing rapidly in the licensed zones. It is targeted to reach a total of 200,000 subscribers in the zones by the end of 2007, with the aim to ensure customer satisfaction as the main priority in the natural gas sector as well.
